CARPI – Leaving the exhibition of Helmut Newton photographs “A Gun for Hire- selection” The shots for Blumarine 1993-1999”, someone underlined in a critical way the strong presence of the fashion brand Molinari-Tarabini. This is true but very positive because, thanks to the collaboration with the great photographer, the company today owns an important heritage. The company in fact still conserves many materials of the important campaigns depicting Monica Bellucci, Carré Otis or Carla Bruni, in particular some precious Polaroid made by the master . About 60 pictures, catalogues and work notes are displayed in the exhibition. The central part consists of 34 large-format photographs, plus 8 original prints coming from Blumarine archive. But there is much more. In particular, in the Sala dei Mori of the Palace, a video featuring interviews and documentaries related to the great German photographer. In the video it is mainly shown the Carpi period for Blumarine, which is going to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of its foundation. In 2017 the company owner Anna Molinari will celebrate the numerous communication campaigns that , like those of Newton, concern some feminine icons like Carré Otis, Nadja Auermann, Carla Bruni, Monica Bellucci and Eva Herzigova
