Probably it isn’t the first museum we visit when we are in London, but the Victoria and Albert Museum is really an experience not to be missed.
The most important museum of art and design in the world offers a section of fabrics and garments which cover over 5000 years of history and range to the distant lands of the East. You can admire the collections of the 20th century that marked the history of costume, together with the the monumental dresses of the 16th, up to Egyptian overshoes dated back to 1550 B.C .
The regular exhibitions too are always interesting: the last one dedicated to the genius of Alexander McQueen was one of the most visited in the museum story.
In 2016 the Victoria & Albert Museum, or more simply the V&A, was elected Museum of the year, thanks to the richness of its offer and the innovation of the exhibition concept. A good opportunity to dedicate the museum a visit during your next stay in London and rediscover that knowing is fundamental for innovating.
