CARPI – After the fashion fair, the incoming event. The program to foster the development and internationalization of the local district companies promoted by Carpi Fashion System, thanks to the financial support of the Foundation CR Carpi, continues. Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 November a group of buyers coming from Japan, Germany, Holland , Switzerland, Lettonia e Lithuania will arrive in Carpi for the second incoming event of 2016 which will take place at Palazzo dei Pio. It is an initiative which, over two days, puts international operators in direct contact with companies through a series of meetings scheduled according to the prior matching of demand and supply, in order to maximize the effectiveness of the contacts. The previous editions have proved to be all very positive for small and medium-sized local companies which, in their city, in a charming location and at a very low cost, could get in touch with some important distributors, agents, importers and representatives of international retail chains.
40 companies, sector women’s clothing and accessories, private label segment for medium and large-scale retail and wholesale distribution, joined the event. They will present their Autumn-Winter 2017-18 collections with supplementary flash of Spring-Summer 2017 and will be divided into two days of activity due to a rich working agenda including 160 appointments already set. The event will start on Tuesday 29, at 9:00 am, after a short institutional welcome and will continue until 13:00. Same program for the morning of 30 November. Both afternoons will be instead dedicated to individual visits of buyers directly in the companies, based on the interest aroused by the collections presented and the results of the meetings, to take any agreements.
The work of contact and selection of foreign buyers is coordinated by Promec, Agency for internationalization of the Chamber of Commerce of Modena . This specific event sees also the collaboration of the Chamber of Commerce of Reggio Emilia. (Claudia Rosini)
