GREAT ANIMATION  among fashion stakeholders  who are waiting for the second edition of Moda Makers, the fair event created by  the companies of  the textile district of Carpi with an innovative formula  based on the collaboration between companies and aimed at  the  collective promotion of the  the District and its know-how. From 15 to 17 November, in piazzale Re Astolfo, 44 fashion companies (38 of which local and the other ones extra-region) will show their collections Autumn- Winter 2017/18. Visitors will have the opportunity to see more than 6.000 knitwear and clothing models  and experience the high quality production manufactured in the area.   An edition certainly more “rich” than the previous one: the number of exhibiting companies increases  from 23 to 44;   the  pre-registered  buyers and operators are at present more than 400  (in the previous edition of May about 300) and are expected to increase up to  600.  The offer grows from  2.000 to over  6.000 models; the exhibition area from  600 to  1.250 square metres, in a structure built in  an ancient city centre square.  The buyers come from more than 40 foreign Countries, including   Japan, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Belgium, USA, South Korea, Greece, Russia.  Finally, the exhibition will last 3 days (no longer 2) in order to give  greater space to the presentation of the collections , to the visitors welcoming and to the business development.

The event, supported by the Carpi Fashion System project, by the Company Associations CNA, Confartigianato Lapam and Confindustria together with the Municipality of Capi,  the Foundation  CR Carpi, Promec and the Chamber of Commerce of  Modena,  arises from the will of cooperation and sharing manifested by the dstrict manufacturers, who have always represented the throbbing  heart of the Fashion sector.    Moreover the exhibition is aimed to relaunch  the Made in Italy excellence of the district production in the international context.   (Maria Silvia Cabri)
