    EVENTS – The courtyard of the Castle of Carpi has been the perfect  setting for the event of incoming  promoted by  Carpi Fashion System.

Here are the numbers of the  incoming (the first for 2016)  promoted by Carpi Fashion System thanks to the financial contribution of the CR Carpi Foundation  and the organization of Promec. The group of buyers coming from United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Switzerland and South Korea  arrived in the city on the 30  of May and left two  days later. In the morning of the 31May the honour coutyard of the Palce of Pio hosted the fashion company stands  welcoming the foreign buyers and showing collections and sets of samples. The suggestive location, with a simple but effective set up of mannequins in the center of the courtyard and the sunny weather have surely contributed to the success of the event, which has been really appreciated by the hosts.  It’s the fourth time that  Carpi Fashion System, as part of its programme of  internationalization, organizes and realizes an incoming.  Also this time the results  have  been positive for the SME’s of the district which, in their town, in a splendid setting and at very low costs,  could get in touch with important distributors, agents, importers, and representatives of   international retail chains. After the exhibition, introduced by a speech of  Simone Morelli,  councillor for Economic Policies and Trade of the City of Carpi, the “two days” continued with individual visitis of buyers directly at the companiers to deepen and conclude agreements and contracts.

    At the helm of the organizational aspects there was  Promec whose manager  Anna Mazzali says: ” When we organize an Incoming our first action  is to match the offer of the companies with the potentially interested customers and select them. Their origin is mainly from Europe but in each edition we also choose a extre EU Country, in this case South Korea”. The buyers showed  a keen interest for the quality, style and creativity of the proposals; they also appreciated the welcome and the organization of all the  details of their travel and  stay. The company owners too were really satisfied and   would like  more than two events per year. “We are   going to evaluate the feasibility” says Anna Mazzali.  (Claudia Rosini)
